Environmental Law & Water Rights

Environmental questions continue to be important. New laws have emerged to protect the environment and prevent further contamination. There is also a commitment on the part of the provincial government to involve persons with an interest in the province's natural resources, such a Saskatchewan's First Nations people, in the development of our resources and the safeguarding of our environment.

Litigation, administrative tribunal representation and commercial issues are part of our firm's environmental law practice. This includes contamination prevention, clean up and site decommissioning.

Environmental standards are regulated federally, provincially and municipally. WMCZ's lawyers can help determine how to meet the standards of the legislation that applies . Our knowledge of environmental assessment, audits, ISO standards, due diligence, lender liability and director liability will help in making sound business decisions.

We also provide environmental mediation services.
