Michael Krawchuk was born in Calgary, Alberta but was raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He graduated from the College of Law, University of Saskatchewan in 1998, receiving his Bachelor of Law with Distinction. In 1999, he was called to the Saskatchewan Bar.

Michael's practice is in civil litigation, with an emphasis on employment law and debtor/creditor law.

Michael is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Saskatchewan Writer's Guild. In 2006 he completed the Leadership Saskatoon program which is a community leadership course offered by the Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce and University of Saskatchewan.
