Your most valuable assets may be invisible. Trade marks, copyrights, patents and other forms of intellectual property can be more important than buildings or equipment.
While it is challenging to protect intangible property, our firm is one of the few in Saskatchewan to make IP a core practice area. Not only does this allow us to give you state of the art solutions for dealing with specific IP issues, it means we can integrate those issues into the rest of your business affairs.
Craig Zawada has worked with intellectual property for over
two decades. His computer science background obviously helps when dealing with the Information Services industry. His practice has included comprehensive involvement with the ag-biotech industry, including genetic typing, crop/seed issues, trade secret issues, and value added processes. Craig is also a Registered Trade Mark Agent, and has dealt with all forms of trade mark registrations, oppositions and related matters.
Craig is a past sessional lecturer at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law on Intellectual Property Law, and has spoken to conferences and organizations on IP topics.
