Mark was born in Melfort, SK and grew up in Saskatoon.  He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2003, after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in Psychology in 2000.

After practicing in Regina, Mark returned to Saskatoon and joined WMCZ in 2007. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association Tax and Business Law sections, and has spoken to such community groups as the Public Legal Education Society of Saskatchewan. His practice focuses on business law, including commercial transactions, corporate law and securities.

Outside of the office, Mark is often found on a baseball diamond. He is a member of the Saskatchewan Baseball Association and a former President of Baseball Regina. He has coached at several levels, including Midget AAA, and with the Saskatchewan Baseball Selects program.
