Michael is one of WMCZ's Debtor/Creditor and Insolvency lawyers.

He was born in Calgary, Alberta but was raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He graduated from the College of Law, University of Saskatchewan in 1998, receiving his Bachelor of Law with Distinction. In 1999, he was called to the Saskatchewan Bar.

Michael's practice is in civil litigation, with an emphasis on employment law and debtor/creditor law. He has made Court appearances in the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal, Saskatchewan Court of Queen's Bench, Federal Court of Canada and Provincial Court of Saskatchewan. Michael has presented on civil litigation issues to his fellow lawyers and the general public. He is also a facilitator and chambers advocacy judge in the Saskatchewan Bar Admission course.

Michael is an author, having written The Battle of Vimy Ridge: Wall of Fire, published by Detselig Enterprises Ltd., for which he has done presentations and television interviews.

In 2006 Michael completed the Leadership Saskatoon program which is a community leadership course offered by the Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce and University of Saskatchewan. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Saskatchewan Writer's Guild.
