Gary is one of WMCZ's co-owners, and head of our Debtor/Creditor and Insolvency department.

He was born and grew up on a farm near St. Gregor, Saskatchewan. Gary received his post-secondary education at St. Peter's College in Muenster, Saskatchewan and the University of Saskatchewan, attaining his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1982 and his LL.B in 1983. He was admitted to the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 1984.

Gary's practice includes Environmental Law, Debtor/Creditor Law (bankruptcy and insolvency, receivership, commercial and agricultural debt collection) and Corporate Commercial Litigation.

Gary has been an active speaker to professional and community organizations on a variety of Environmental Law and Debtor-Creditor issues. He also lectures at the Bar Admission Course.

Gary is the Past Chair of the National Environmental Law section of the Canadian Bar Association and is a member of the Saskatoon Insolvency Association. Gary is also a former President of the Nutana Curling Club in Saskatoon and of the Saskatchewan Amateur Field Trial Association. In 2008, he was elected President of the Saskatchewan Party.
